Lime washing

Lime wash is simply a lime putty (sometimes mixed with earth pigments) used for painting and protecting walls. The lime surface then dries and, because it is a natural product, it allows water through to some extent. This is counteracted by the fact that the water can evaporate out again through this breathable membrane
