When you see a Venetian Polished Plaster wall you get a great sense and feel for the grand nature of the architecture of the time and it's beauty and elegance.
Venetian plasters, when first used, contained goat's milk and even blood.
A lot of people have never heard of Polished Plaster or Venetian Plaster. They are both made from a mixture which includes a lime stone base, chippings and marble powder

Venetian plaster is known for its strength and durability as well as the mould and mildew resistant properties it has. It is not uncommon to still see Venetian plastered walls over 400 years old.
